Research Interests

My research quantifies the response of the terrestrial biosphere to changes in environmental conditions including rising carbon dioxide, tropospheric ozone and nitrogen deposition at leaf, canopy, ecosystem, biome and global scales using modeling techniques with particular emphasis on impacts for the global carbon cycle.
